COMMENCEMENT OF PRODUCT SALES IN EUROPE
(Charlottesville, VA, 07 February 2009) – PluroGen Therapeutics, Inc. today announced that its commercial
partner for skin and wound cleansing medical devices in Europe, Welcare Industries, commenced sale of products
using PluroGen’s PluroGel™ technology, receiving opening orders from its distribution network in Germany, Italy
and Switzerland.

Commenting on the initial sales of PluroGel™ technology products, Fulvia Lazzarotto, Managing Director for

these new PluroGel™ products.”
