PLUROGEN THERAPEUTICS INC. AND DERMA SCIENCES INC. TO PROTOTYPE WOUND
HEALING DRESSINGS UTILIZING PLUROGEN’S PROPRIETARY GEL TECHNOLOGY
(Charlottesville, VA, October 8, 2007) – PluroGen Therapeutics, Inc. today announced an agreement with
Derma Sciences, Inc. (NASDQ: DSCI) to prototype dressings used for wound care based on PluroGen’s
proprietary topical drug delivery technology.
Commenting on the agreement, Neal G. Koller, President & CEO of PluroGen, said, “Signing this agreement
with such a well established and respected manufacturer in wound healing provides a terrific advantage
and opportunity for PluroGen. The products Derma Sciences is prototyping will expand the delivery
options and product portfolio for our gel technology in both the burn and chronic wound markets. In
developing dressing products utilizing our gel technology, PluroGen will offer superior and differentiated
products for a large and growing segment of the advanced wound healing market”.
