                     ASSOCIATION SOUTH EAST REGIONAL CONFERENCE IN SAVANNAH GA

(Charlottesville, VA, October 09, 2008) – PluroGen Therapeutics, Inc. today announced it was selected and
presented as 1 of only 8 companies at the Angel Capital Association South East Regional Conference 2008
in Savannah GA.

Neal G. Koller, President & CEO of PluroGen, made the presentation to an audience of angel network
investors from around the country.  Commenting on the presentation, Mr. Koller said “PluroGen is honored
to be selected for this presentation.  They had many companies applying with only a few slots available.  
Our selection underlines the quality of investment PluroGen offers and validates PluroGen’s opportunity for
